Hi Guys I would like to start off by telling you a little story which I heard recently ..It was told to me by a very charitable women who offers her services to a centre close to her which deals with young people . Esther helps out at the centre by feeding these young kids and helping them with their homework ,recently she noticed one of the children looked very tired and she asked him why?.He replied by telling her that he was worried about his Mothers health. Esther knew of the family situation regarding drugs which had taken the boys father in the past year ,but she told the child to try to sleep as worrying would not help .The young lad replied that he overheard his Grandparents talk about his Mother and that she had only three months to live . Looking at this eleven year old child and knowing what must be going through his head was almost to much for Esther to hide from the young man ,but she reminded him that she would always be there for him if he needed to talk to someone.To this the young lad replied 'if my Mammy dies will you be my Mammy?'.Esther without hesitation replied 'of course I will be your Mammy'.  Esther found out later that the young man returned home and told his Mother (her weight had gone down to 4 stone) that she could go now as he had found a new Mammy .This was a shock to her as you can imagine ,but sometimes this happens for the best as up to this point his Mother (a drug user) had resisted going to seek help for her addiction and health problems .Esther discovered that the childs Mother had gone to hospidaland through a new treatment her life expectancy would rise to three years.A happy ending or at least a better one than expected.
